چکیده
Operational performance of fully mechanized cut-to-length (CTL) harvesting varies greatly due to the human factor i.e. machine operator. This study investigated how CTL operators’ workability index (WAI), personal lifestyle choices, seasons, and shift work affected operational performance. Research evaluated 14 volunteer operators for a longitudinal with continuous data collection productivity, activity level, sleep, follow-up on questionnaire fitness test every three months over year. The analyzed production 152 745.5 m3 timber combined self-tracking data. Operators’ relative productivity (Pr) had an increasing trend whilst WAI increased, thus seems well also forestry applications. Physical (VO2max) didn’t seem connect Pr only slightly when VO2max increased. participants slept longer in evening than morning (p < 0.000) consequently catching up their sleep deficit from period. Furthermore, higher value (SV) increased final fellings. results should be interest both practitioners researchers interested operations.

Associations of Short Sleep and Shift Work Status with Hypertension among Black and White Americans
Objective. The purpose of this study was to investigate whether short sleepers (<6 hrs) who worked the non-day-shift were at greater likelihood of reporting hypertension and if these associations varied by individuals' ethnicity. Methods. Analysis was based on the 2010 National Health Interview Survey (NHIS). A total of 59,199 American adults provided valid data for the present analyses (mean a...
متن کاملEffects of Shift Work on Cognitive Performance, Sleep Quality, and Sleepiness among Petrochemical Control Room Operators.
Shift work is associated with both sleepiness and reduced performance. The aim of this study was to examine cognitive performance, sleepiness, and sleep quality among petrochemical control room shift workers. Sixty shift workers participated in this study. Cognitive performance was evaluated using a number of objective tests, including continuous performance test, n-back test, and simple reacti...
متن کاملAssociations of reported bruxism with insomnia and insufficient sleep symptoms among media personnel with or without irregular shift work
BACKGROUND The aims were to investigate the prevalence of perceived sleep quality and insufficient sleep complaints, and to analyze whether self-reported bruxism was associated with perceptions of sleep, and awake consequences of disturbed sleep, while controlling confounding factors relative to poor sleep. METHODS A standardized questionnaire was mailed to all employees of the Finnish Broadc...
متن کاملSeparate and Joint Associations of Shift Work and Sleep Quality with Lipids
BACKGROUND Shift work and/or sleep quality may affect health. We investigated whether shift work and sleep quality, separately and jointly, were associated with abnormal levels of triglycerides, total cholesterol (TC), and low-and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol in 360 police officers (27.5% women). METHODS Triglycerides, TC, and high-density lipoprotein were analyzed on the Abbott Archi...
